It’s said that when the student is ready the Master appears. It took nearly 25 years of a long journey in my life, ever since my birth to find my Great Master, My Great Guru, My Glorious Guiding Light who took me under His protective wings from the very moment He saw me, without any second thought. More than 20 years have passed since then, the eternal bondage continues in its deepest levels though He has transformed Himself from His physical “Form” to the Absolute real “Formless”.
The Past, Present and the Future everything dissolves in the presence of the Divine Master and it’s just Nothingness and Vast empty space as the Universe, that fills your Being which is beyond any description in the mere words of a human. One has to experience the experience to understand and cherish this experience.
It is stated in Tamil, “Guru Arul Illayel Thiruvarul Illai”. It means it’s not possible to get the Divine blessings if one is not blessed with a proper Guru.
“Guru- the Enlightened”, takes His disciples in the path of Enlightenment.
My Benevolent Guru His Holiness Thiru Subramanya Swamigal was born on 15 July, 1942 in Chengam Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District of Tamilnadu, South India. He continued his education in Vellore District and became a Government servant. Inclined towards spirituality right from his younger days, he led a saintly life abstaining Himself from the worldly married life.
He invested his time, money, energy and other resources to serve the Humanity. He always wanted to alleviate the sufferings of the Humanity and provide them with the much needed solace and remedy for their problems. Gradually everything gained momentum and finally He Gifted this world with an extraordinary, out of the world Temple in Sathuvachari, Vellore, South India, in the year 1988.
You may ask “ What’s so special about the temple”? Well,the reply is“EVERYTHING”. Yes, just everything in this temple is so special and extraordinary that it will bestow the devotees with life-transforming experiences. First and foremost, the Presiding deity Lord Shiva is made out of solidified Mercury. In Tamil, Mercury is known as Pada-rasam, while in Sanskrit it is known as Parad. The Lingam made out of Mercury is known as Rasa Lingam or Parad Lingam. Solidification of Mercury has been tried by many Siddhars or Saints from time immemorial. But not many have succeeded in this Divine Alchemic Art.
It is mentioned in many sacred Hindu texts and Scriptures about the significance and benefits of Rasalingam.
Vaadhulaagamam, states that the moment one gets the darshan of Rasalingam, all his sins will be annihilated. Worshipping Rasalingam will bestow upon the worshipper the goodness of performing Shiva pooja to all the Shiva Lingams in all the three worlds. It’s also further mentioned that worshipping RasaLingam promotes Prosperity, Health and Longevity.
Next, the deity Shri Bhuvaneshwari Amman, Magnificent Shiva Linga with Rahu and Ketu in the circumambulation area, Saptha Kannis Stupa, captivating Kamadhenu or Surabhi or the divine goddess Gou Mata’s statues are all some of the extraordinaries in the endless list of uniqueness of this “Divine Abode”.
For presenting this timeless precious gift to the world and maintaining it thereafter, My Alchemist invested His entire life and personal resources without obtaining even an iota of aid in any form from anybody. Even after consecrating the temple, He used to distribute Prasadams, Flowers, Fruits and Coconuts to everyone who visited the temple without accepting anything from anyone for the temple or for Himself.
His untiring, selfless services in His Physical Form came to a temporary halt with His Mahasamadhi on 15 November,2004. Yet He continues His eternal services in His Formless Form for the welfare of the society.
Not many would be blessed to see such amazing souls. Not many would be blessed to have such souls as Guru. Not many would be blessed to serve their Guru being in His close proximity. Not many would continue to live in those wonderful memories in every breath of their lifetime. I trust that My Alchemist should have blessed me abundantly in my previous birth itself, so that I could be showered profusely with all the above Blessings in this birth.
