Humans are blessed not only with amazing thinking capacity but also gifted with the power to implement them in reality. But are we optimising this wonderful gift and potential of its true purpose to realise our goals?

To have a clear, conscious and focused thinking let’s understand about thought patterns and about Conscious and SubConscious Mind.

Assuming, if a person has a thought every second it sums up to 3600 thoughts per hour. In 24 hours it works out to be 86,400 thoughts. On an average, if it’s a fraction of a thought in a second it averages to 50,000 to 70,000 thoughts in a day.

With so much thought trafficking taking place in the  mind, is it even possible to be aware of the thoughts, let alone implementing it to realise our desired goals?

To put it straight, most of us are barely  aware of only 10% of the thoughts which arise in the Conscious Mind which is just the tip of an iceberg. For example, deciding your favourite delicacies or what to eat, selecting your outfits, enjoying your favourite music, partying with your friends….all these are the result of your 10% thinking in the Conscious Mind domain. All  thoughts, memories, feelings, and wishes of which we are aware at any given moment comes under the purview of the Conscious Mind.

Repressed thoughts, memories, feelings and wishes are pushed to the Subconscious Mind. The remaining 90% of  Iceberg is the Subconscious Mind. The Subconscious Mind is like a humongous store house of all our memories. That’s the reason why people are able to recall their past life incidents with clarity when they are under hypnosis.

The SubConscious Mind cannot act independently. It obeys the commands of the Conscious Mind. The thoughts that arise in the Conscious Mind influences the SubConscious Mind and vice versa. To have a clear mind we have to have good, positive and clear thoughts.

Mind on its own is neither good nor bad. It’s just like a vast empty space. It’s the quality of thoughts that we need to concentrate to have an energised peaceful mind. To give another example, the mind is like a plain white canvas. Thoughts are like the painting on it. It’s the strokes and colours that determine the quality of the painting and not the canvas. However, a clear canvas is required to draw the painting.

To realise our goals it’s essential to clear all the clutter in the mind and make it clean and fresh, just like a new canvas. The ground has to be  tilled and prepared well before sowing the seeds. So declutter the mind of all the unwanted thoughts, memories and negative emotions and imprints.

Once the mind is ready, the next step is to start sowing good, positive thoughts to realise your goals or aspirations.

Keep yourself reminded of the positive thoughts to make it as a habit pattern to realise your goals. These thoughts and habits will recreate your personality to achieve your desired goals.

To sum up, the Secret to achieve your desired goal and reach beyond the finishing point is to prepare your mind and plant necessary positive thoughts. Focus on those thoughts to lead you to reformed habits and personality to cherish the  final fruit.
