One of the best ways to approach the obstacles and problems that we encounter in our life is to shift our focus on the solutions rather than on the problems. You may wonder how’s that even possible? You may think, “If I had the solutions, probably, I wouldn’t be facing these problems in life. But, Where do I get the solutions from?”
Well, the answer is the “solutions are locked within you”. You have to just tap to unlock it by “Breathing Gratitude”. I haven’t mentioned Practice Gratitude, but instead, I have mentioned “Breathe Gratitude”.
Yes, you have to Breathe Gratitude in every walk of your life to witness how beautifully your life unfolds. Observe your thought pattern after you have read the first sentence of this paragraph. If it goes like….It’s easier said than done…Easy to Preach but difficult to Practice…, then you are still focusing only on the problems and should come out from the wrong track to the right one! If your thought pattern goes like….” How can I implement it in my life”?…”What efforts should I take to make it my life pattern”…, then you are on the right track of exploring the innumerable possibilities and solutions in your life’s journey.
Steps for Implementing “Breathing Gratitude”:
- The moment you wake up your eyes to the world in the morning until you retire to bed at the end of the day feel Gratitude. Mentally offer your sincere Gratitude to your Mother and Father.
- If you are blessed with a Spiritual Guru offer your boundless Gratitude to him for being your “infinite” source of living and for moulding and sculpting you in experiencing the Divine source. Then, Thank the Divine Force- the Almighty, for giving you one more day for enjoying His Gift of Life. Offer your whole-hearted Gratitude to that Divine Life Force, the Source of your Living for Protecting you and Guiding you in every step of your Life.
- Thank your internal and external organs for relentlessly supporting you 24/7. Extend your heartfelt Gratitude for every organ for supporting and sustaining your life.
- Profoundly thank the Elixir of Life- Water for the undetachable role it plays in your life. When you bathe, drink and water your plants offer your Gratitude to Water.
- Offer your fervent Gratitude to the Food & Beverages whenever you eat and drink for providing you with the necessary vital Energy.

- Sincerely thank your dwelling place and workplace.
- Genuinely thank your job/business and the benefits it offers (irrespective of any issues you may be facing in your current job/business). You will notice that your obstacles slowly fade and give way to new opportunities or possibilities.
- Offer your warm Gratitude to the vehicle you travel for taking you safely to your desired destination.
- Thank all the objects, things and tools which make your life a lot easier and more comfortable.
- Thank Nature, the flora and the fauna, the five essential elements (also known as Pancha MahaBhutas) – Earth, Water, Air, Fire & Space for blessing you with Abundant Energy for an Enriched and Fulfilling Life.
Methods for Effective Implementation:
- Feel your Gratitude whole-heartedly while expressing it. Don’t do it mechanically or half-heartedly.
- Make it a daily habit to write a list of at least 5 things you are grateful for in your life.
- Don’t break your practice. Initially, it might be difficult to get into the practice regime. Once you commence, practice diligently.
- Steps for implementing Breathing Gratitude listed above is just an outline to get a hang of it to practice for the beginners. However, if you are already into the daily practice regime, you can follow your own steps or can add your own list to the one mentioned above.
- Practice sincerely and observe the beautiful changes that unfold in your life.
The same Divine Energy that is OmniPresent and Guides the flow of the Universe is present within me and in every other creature in this world. My Humble Gratitude to that Divine Energy for Guiding and Flowing through me.
